Farewell 14
In English…. Not Dutch… although the thought might stay that you depart in own mother tongue…. You know how it is… overwhelming stress brings back the first words you learned…
First I told… some people should know how they did what… not as grief, not as karma …just as an attempt to leave on this this planet what they created… still believe so….Massive Attack
SAFE From Harm
Midnight rockers, city slickers
Gunmen and me yeah
On a feature on the freak show
And I can’t do nothing ’bout that, no no
But if you hurt what’s mine
I’ll sure as hell retaliate
One of the most lovely emotions:
I was lookin’ back to see if you were lookin back at me
To see me lookin back at you
I was lookin’ back to see if you were lookin back at me
To see me lookin back at you
It is much more complexed….the moment you realize that the big farewell is coming… that the senses will -assumed- not translate any information anymore
That you leave the circus… no connection anymore…
Thoughts are not things anymore
Words turn into poetry of those who are—- if any— left behind
Serious these thoughts are not there. Nowhere. What is done is done by something greater than myself in me
It is in these moments the tears drop, stream inside my skin.. what longing brings… can do…
What we need to abandone is the thought of society… a word where we act instead of please…
I was in London in the 90ties when I bought Massive attack… years later Paul Weller… Wild Wood driving through L.A. There are so many reminiscences where on the tip of my being the senses overwhelm
Driving to Paris with my daughter her legs out of the window and both singing
It is a painful journey any farewell…
we could build up new once… but your heart has to be in to all the way….just be fore it stops
